This is one of my welded scupltures. It's made from the scrap steel from one of the presses where I work. The piece is basically a modified cube whhich is about 6" x 6" x 6". It is made from the drops left behind after a sprocket punching job. Each side of the cube is made up of four of these "I" shaped slugs. The triangular corner fills were made from the same slugs. This piece is all about negative space and rythm.
