I'm gonna start going back to the gym tomorow

    Wish me luck. I've let myself get a little out of shape recently. Not fat out of shape I just don't have the cardio I used to.

    I've always prided myself on a good work out ethic since my time in the military, but raising my son and working 6 days a week has made me put it on the backburner.

    The gym close to where I work at just went 24 hours and this is how I can squeeze it in. Dreading it and looking forward to it at the same time. I'll try to keep anyone that cares updated on my progress in this thread. I'm gonna do it anyway whether you care or not actually just to chart my progress.

    wooh. i just started going again yesterday actually, after working out on and off since 8th grade.
    I'm doing starting strength program.

    keep us updated :D

    That's why I posted something on here.

    I'm hoping that it'll get me out the door with the thought "I can't let that asshole BBAD be right! GRRRRR"

    I worked out yesterday at my local gym too, not really a gym, but they have a few treadmills, elliptical machines, lots of weight machines, and a few other contraptions that I have not yet figured out. I was working out 5-7 days a week 4 months ago, but got burnt out. I noticed the other day that my pants were kinda snug and got inspired to start going again. I'm lucky because we are in the middle of nowhere, and I have a key, so I can work out at any time as well. Makes it nice in the middle of the night when I can't sleep or if I wake up a couple hours before my husband has to leave for work. I feel amazing today, just a bit sore, and will happily head back tomorrow. My plan for this round is 3-4 days a week, and hopefully I'll keep it up.

    Well I worked out last night doing push ups and sit ups with a friend before we started drinking last night.

    Now I'm hung over and sore. I may need to rethink this strategy. ugh.

    At least I started though.

    seriously bro? i was out doin squats, deadlifts, chins and bench press this morning while ur out drinkin?

    as long as it doesn't cut into hipforums time, i'd say it will be a worthwhile pursuit.

    Well I've been slacking off.

    Yesterday me and my friend wrestled and I was showing him some jujitsu, and it really wore me out and I hurt my back. I won of course because I'm badass, but the next day I realized I hurt myself. Fuck getting old!
