Im a guy, some think that angel wings on your back is gay... I have a capricorn tattoo in the middle of my upper back, kinda under the back of my neck. Im thinking of getting angel wings, one kinda half-filled in with a Greek flag, like the backround, the other with an American flag. Corny or cool? lol. I like it I also might want half a sleeve, like a little under the elbow and up. It'll be filled with all kinda shit that describe me, also, Greek/Spartan warrior type of stuff, I dunno about this one for sure Let me know what you guys think. Thx Also, has anyone had any experience with black light ink, it's invisable except under blacklight?
It only matters what you like. Personally though, I've always thought wings were for girls. Go with the sleeve first! Not that wings can't be masculin, I've just never seen a guy with that kind of tattoo (that wasn't Mexican or from Jersey). I know Ed Hardy (and other designers) make shirts with wing tattoos for guys. It's not that weird, dude. Just not that common on guys! I think wings would look cool, but the sleeve would be better!
why don't you get a tattoo of where your ancestors are from? for example i was thinking of getting a tattoo with elements of cyprus and ireland mixed in, in honor of my ancestors.
it doesn't matter what people think of it...if it means something to you, then that's all that matters. I have a cancer ribbon with peonies for my father, tattooed to my shoulder. I'm sure there are people who think its ugly, but they'd never say it out loud cuz that would make them soulless assholes. So, do what you feel is right and fuck everyone else.
As for the blacklight ink, I'm not 100% positive, but I think it fades rather quickly. At least that's what my brother told me and he's a tattoo maniac.
