I Am So Glad

people on Facebook can't see the shit I post here! Everything these days in linked into your FB account. If I ever use Pinterest and pin dirty pictures, they go straight to my FB. Same with Youtube and a billion other sites. I'm glad HipForums stays separate from that crap. I can be myself here, without living up to the uppity standards of some of my FB friends!! I mean, my family is on there, I don't think they need to know some of this stuff about me. The stuff I can feel free to discuss here!

I guess I should thank Skip and the other super mods for keeping this site away from FB!

Fakebook is as foreign to me as it can be.

 

I never really understood the whole facebook thing. Why would you want all your friends, family, and mild acquaintances to know everything about you? I mean, your friend posts a picture of you sitting on the toilet puking into your underpants, and you want your mother and co-workers and everyone else you know to see it?
PS - If I ever get caught in the above-mentioned situation, I will be sure to post the picture here.

if you hook up every other site you use to your facebook account, then don't complain when it does exactly what it said it would do when you connected them.

 

I'm not complaining that it does that. It's fine. I don't mind that.
I'm just happy that hipforums doesn't have a link to FB.
I keep my FB for family and friends, no real buts about it! I'm simi-cautious about what I post on there. My private life is private, but there are things I do/like that I want to share with the people I care about.
I understand why people would be against FB. It's caused problems for me before (well, actually my ex caused all the problems). But I try to be cautious and courteous of the things I post.

And the dirty pics on Pinterest are not of me!!
