I've been looking into different transpersonal approaches to mental illness. One place that teaches Masters and Phd in Transpersonal counseling is the Sofia Institute in CA. I feel like I would be really good as a therapist, though I've never actually received therapy from someone whose familiar with Jung. I mentioned Jung once to a former psychiatrist. "Who is Jung?" She asked. From what I've read his spiritual holistic view of the psyche nearly cured many patients including those with schizophrenia. I'm currently treated for adhd and bipolar, and I think that I might benefit from it.

Yet, there's also information regarding being able to recover through them without being on medications such as anti-psychotics, mood stabilizers, or stimulants? I would like to recover without medication but I keep trying to stay on the path I'm on and not get pessimistic about health care.

Thanks everyone for the insightful replies. I'm glad no one even knows who he is.
