Anyone else see that amazing Vikings game? Blair Walsh was clutch! 55yd field goal w/ :04 left to tie the game and take it into OT.. where then he nailed a 38yd FG for the win.. gotta say. it's a good way to start a season that otherwise looks sketchy.
2 big things I'll remember about quarterback performances from the first week of the season: Luck (#1 draft choice) got outplayed by Griffin (Heisman Trophy winner) Alex Smith outplayed Aaron Rogers, head to head Beyond that, New Orleans played like a team without a coach, maybe because they don't have a coach. Everybody said that Brees was going to be like a player-coach this season, but they forgot he doesn't know shit about defense. I don't give a fuck about Fox's new studio, or that Erin Andrews has switched to Fox from ESPN. She's so over-rated and full of herself. Rob Riggle did better than I expected, but what happened to Frank Caliendo? I loved to watch him insult Terry Bradshaw. They can't let Terry off the hook! Last and least, Payton Manning still does better in TV commercials than Eli. I would like to see one where they are clowning around at home and (daddy) Archie says, from a rocking chair, "Boys, if you don't straighten up and get serious, you're never gonna amount to anything in life."
The Falcons are gonna own the Saints this year. Its been close the past few years but we bout to blow it up!
if you think the colts will get somewhere just because they got the #1 draft pick.. which happened to be the one key element they were missing.. a QB... then you are mistaken.. Colts were baaaaad.. horrible.. last season.. and it wasn't just the lack of a QB that was there problem.. they got the Vikes next week.. I plan on the Vikes being 2-0
Hey, if we only win one game all year, it has to be against Atlanta! Washington finished last in their division. Maybe not this year. I think the Eagles are in for big trouble, because running QB's in the NFL can never stay healthy. Vick's numbers would be much better if he could continue to spend 2 out of every 3 years in prison!

dont know who saw the raiders/chargers game monday night, but if that long snapper still has a job, ill be surprised. that game was better than watching comedy central!! and early in the game, there was like 4 penalties in a row by the raiders defense lol.
Alex Smith definitely played well but he also doesn't have to go up against his defense. The 49ers defense completely takes away the running game from teams and more often than not receivers get hit right after they catch the ball.
