Hello everyone, I love to go all out for Halloween. I usually put a lot of work into buying whatever is necessary for costumes etc - so I usually try to start thinking relatively early. Does anyone have some creative ideas about a fun Halloween costume that I could be this year? I'm a guy by the way - love to do movie characters, musicians (with fake tattoos and all) - so the more characteristic, the better! Thanks!
Be something that's a play off your name. For example, my last name is North, so I could be a compass, with the needle pointing north.
I was at a party back in my collage days... One guy came as his mattress, he actually ripped all the guts out of his mattress, cut a hole for his face and had a wooden structure on his shoulders to make it square. Another guy made a suit of armor out of linoleum and went to the party as Ta-Da! "Linoleum Man"! He kept commenting on how nice the kitchen counter looked and that we should be more careful of how much beer we spilled on the floor... But the best costume was this guy in a long trench coat with cheap sunglasses, with a sign on his back that said "Yes... It's Him" he kept introducing himself to everybody as "Hi, I'm God. It's nice to meet you"... :smilielol5:
LOL, good ones Tyrsonswood. I've seen some good ones but they were regional humor, or from old t.v. commercials... I still like the plastic trash can with the bottom cut out, hung from suspenders, the lid on your head like a hat, and a sign hanging around your neck that reads "White Trash Only!".
Solid color clothing, small cereal boxes glued all over, knives in the boxes. Cereal Killer. A rather portly friend has the bad luck to look more than a little like Michael Moore. He wears a fedora and a suit jacket.
A friend of mine made one for her child that was a stop light. It was a long box with red, yellow, and green lights on each side. The arms came out the red lights on alternate sides and he was wearing a red shirt underneath.
