It seems like since the creation of the inter-webs has astonishingly blown pornography into a new realm where children of any age can easily, or accidentally access it. In my personal experiences, I've noticed a rapidly shallowing attitude towards sex. It really looks as though it's becoming sex-ed for most youth. Any thoughts?

I don't really care. Everything is becoming extremely fucked up. 12years old drug addicts, violence. I want to just sit and enjoy the show...

It is but I don't think it's affecting the youth of today (10 years old and up) any more or less so than Disney or MTV does.

Jerry Springer is on regular TV.. porn isnt.. Porn are in people having sex, making Love, coupling, being human beings.. Jerry Springer is people acting like animals.. take your pick and pick on something more damaging to society and leave porn the fuck alone!!

It's only available to minors where internet security on devices has not been set up.
We have set all of our childrens devices up with the standard internet security options. These filters will be removed at the age of 18, they can then make their own minds up.

I think it has an influence indeed but regular tv still has a much larger influence. And I don't think most is for the better. This influence of regular tv might not be exactly focussed on sex directly but certainly indirectly (certain clothing trends for 12 year olds for instance, certain seemingly approved or recommended doubtful behaviour, etc. etc.).

I'm with most everyone else that porn is nothing compared to the media at large.

if you lived on 42 street in ny 20 years ago you saw as much sex then as you see on the interwebs now.
i guess it made it more accessible for the people in middle america though.
i cant speak for the rest of the world.

It's a plus. It gives poor folk a chance at some cash in a safer environment than working the street.

Back in '56 when I was in the National Guard, they showed our unit a porn film and it was hilarious. Greasy little mustachioed guys with their socks on,black and white film about 20 minutes long. Goofy shit. It was on 8 or 16 milimeter film and that was about the only way it could be seen except for little comic booklets that were passed around surrepetitiously from kid to kid. Of course in the 50s and back, sex was not talked about openly as it is now and was still considered VERY "naughty" in open society. So now, anything and everything can be seen by just about anyone, any time and so I would say ,yes ,it has affected out society. But major changes have come in most if not all of society. It's difficult to let you younger folks know exactly how huge the changes have been throughout our society as compared to "back in the day." It's been a liberating societal change to have the net available, however I would prefer my nine year old grand daughter not blunder into what can be seen. Answer is=yes.

Me, I translate that as a very roundabout way of saying porn means women are getting less action, have less control if more porn means more guys are just going to be "meh why bother if i can just jack off to the next vid". Without really realizing how many women talk like that but then use porn themselves.

Project it on to a concern for youth so it makes it sound like you are fighting for a just cause that no one can argue with, when its really about you. Getting out of your teens, that attention from guys is diminishing. Blame something else rather than change yourself.

You've noticed a rapidly shallowing attitude towards sex, are you talking about everybody or just guys? Are you going to be one of those girls that are "porn is so demeaning to women" because the guys dont bother waiting three dates anymore?

As for kids, compelling evidence that all the hormones we are pumping in to meat products is a big factor in why they are hitting puberty earlier. Which would be a bigger concern. Porn is what they use once they start thinking about sex, but if fried chicken is whats causing them to think of it earlier, we should be going after McDonalds, KFC, and ironically Chic-fil-A

    it can ruin some people.

Overall, I don't see porn as an issue, compared to the media like most people are worried about.

My husband and I talked about when we have kids and we both decided that they don't get their own computer (or access to one unsupervised) until we know they are responsible and careful enough to use one.

When it comes to the youth, though, they are gunna learn this shit someday anyway...regardless of what we try to do and if we try an keep it from them.

I'm going to assume that "playing doctor " is still popular with the kiddie set. It's how I learned. Never "cured anyone" tho.

Wow, you're kind of a prick to be honest. No, many women enjoy porn and even profit from it. Just because I'm not exactly a fan doesn't mean you can assume that I'm some feminist. I just think that it's implied a different expectation towards sex. I'm pretty sure KFC and McDildo's has been around a lot longer than the internet. Anyway, my point is, it's becoming way too easy to access any type of pornography.
Oh, and by the way, you really have no reason to assume negative things about me.. Not every girl is some ignorant bitch who is always seeking attention from boys x) God, fuck you.
