I am newly back in the dating scene. I have been chatting with one guy and at first I wasn't sure if he was into me or not. I appologize in advance if the answer to this is clear but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to dating. We have long chats pretty often online and the last few have led to conversations about sex and such. We briefly saw each other one night and after he told me he thought I was cute. We went out for drinks the other night and at the end he gave me a hug and said he'd be online if I wanted to chat. A few days later and we've chatted some more but he hasn't asked me to go out again. He randomly texts me sometimes to tell me something funny or ask what I'm up to. I don't imagine he's shy because he's quite good looking and seems to exude confidence. I'm not sure if I should make the move and ask him if he wants to hang out again or not. It didn't feel like he had romantic intentions at the end of our night out but I'm not sure why he initiates texting if he's not into me. I'm pretty shy so I don't want to make the move if I've misread him. Oh, also I'm helping him out on a project in a couple weeks so I thought he might just be building a business relationship with me. Yeah, I don't know, anyone else have thoughts on where this is going?
Quite odd, if you are an attractive female I probably would have asked you out again, he could be acting coy for unknown reasons though. I'd just ask him out on a date! It won't hurt, taking things to seriously is the only thing that does.
Tell him you're shy and that you just want straight answers and you don't want your heart played with. If the guy isn't a jerk, I think he'll be honest with you.
email him telling him you'll be at a particular coffee shop on Sunday at 2pm. If he turns up,you're in. If he doesn't-best to find out now before you start hoping and dreaming, hon.
I was going to say something similar to this, maybe say you wanted to see a movie but didnt want to go alone. You dont have to know about dating but it helps to be able to read peoples body language and expressions. If all else fails like they saide before...youll just have to ask.
Yes, do this. He's into to you and he'll be thrilled and impressed with you for having the courage to ask him out. Everytime a girl has asked me out, my respect for her has increased ten-fold. Believe me when I say that there's nothing that turns a guy on more than when a woman demonstrates that she knows what she wants and isn't affraid to take action to get it. Decisiveness is a powerful aphrodisiac for men.
Maybe he is just being a good friend? My friend texts me at times with funny, querky things and I have no intention of dating her and she none for me.. However it seems fairly evident he is into you.. Maybe he is like me and wants to get to know someone before dating them.. I never really understood 'dating' someone before I knew them..
