Well not that I was apparently allowed to post here, and if the instructions written in red that means doubly so.

But your username threw me at first, the acronym GAP usually refers to something rather different.

Which qualifies as irrelevant, so wow its like you can see into the future

I don't think Nox was expressing anger but more "DUH" because after time, of course there will be happy and unhappy moments.

I'm at 14 years, and like Nox and oreo, it's a mix.
It seems disingenuous if I was to just homogenize all those years into either 'happy' or 'unhappy'

Here's my 2cents. I've been married for 32 years. I met my husband in 1976 and we were living together within 2 weeks of meeting. I think you'd call it "Love at First Sight". We lived together for 4 years before we married. We are happy. Couldn't imagine myself with anybody else. We didn't have kids but we've had 2 successful businesses that we ran together. In my experience there is no fairly tail world, we've had our up's and down's but we've always had each other. We're in it until death us do part.

Gain credibility, now thats a snotty attitude. If people ignore newbies thats like having a caste or clique. Its not like that in here is it?

LOL i think i had far more credibility after my first post in this forum than many many long serving members have, given some of the absolute crap and bullshit i have seen posted in here.

again i cant believe they actually allow open discussion about drugs, and the use and making of them.

i also see many posts in the love and sex section that raises my eyebrow as well.

anyway, least i dont go about bullshitting like others do, so i am happy with my level of credibility as a new member.

the odd thing is, if your topic is not about something thats more on the "extreme" side, you wont get many replies, especially in the sex forum.

this really has turned out to be a real strange place to hang out, but aside from some of the crap posted in here by a small minority, it is, overall, a nice forum to be part of, and there are not very many out there like this.

There will always be crap in a forum, but i feel i must disagree with you on the subject of talking openly about drugs and sex. Open discussion regarding these subjects is refreshing and interesting, i have smoke weed on numerous occasions and have always resisted the urge to follow on to other types etc, but from an observers point of view i find reading about others experiences interesting. The same applies to sex, its refreshing to talk about it, especially as we live in a more relaxed society and sometimes we want to try things, but we want to gather third party opinions....I respect your views and i hope you respect mine. :sunny:

well, approximately 98% of newbies are trolls. it generally takes a few posts before you can tell if the new people are for real or not.

well we got this little thing here in the states called The Constitution and one of the very first things in that Constitution is all about freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Interesting read, you should check it out sometime. ;)

you say that like your constitution is this really wonderful thing ???

everyone on this planet knows how screwed up your wonderful constitution really is, and allowing you lot the power to carry firearms to protect yourselves, and allow criminals to hide behind it to evade prosecution, are just 2 examples of just how stupid it really can be, and i can mention many other examples if i had time to type them all up.

this is like going into ebay and refusing to sell your items to, or buy items from new members ??? and i think its rediculous, everyone was a newbie at some point in time, and i personally resent being treated like some idiot until i have proven myself (just saying)

i am not against a thread that has a topic asking if you have used drugs, or something similar, what i dislike are the threads that openly discuss the making of drugs, or how to hide drugs from the authorities, and there are threads running about both these topics right now, and im sorry but i find them disturbing, and so too would lots of other people as well, however, because of the wonderful "constitution" you americans have to hide behind, anything is "fair game" but it doesnt mean everyone else should like it.

again, im just having my say, because i am hiding behind my own constitution which also allows me to have my say.

I think it makes a lot of sense to not purchase from ebay newbies unless it is a very small, cheap item. Yes everyone is a newbie at some point but there is a reason there's a ranking system. Most people look at high rankings and feel safe purchasing from those people.

Likewise people who want to give real insight into a post prefer not to do it if they can't tell for sure it the person is not a person or is a troll... some may do so if it is just simple and easy but some may not and that is their choice to make that decision.

There are lots of scams on internet forums and ebay, I would be more careful if I were you and understand internet etiquette and culture.

where is the logic in your comment about not buying from new ebay seller ???

you claim people should look at their ranking and go for a member with a good ranking to buy from, so if thats how you think it should work, then how on earth would any new member get their ranking higher if everyone avoids them ??? the only way to get your ranking is to be allowed to sell in the first place.

i have never had a problem yet with a new seller, and if i am in doubt, i put in place a particular procedure that i created for my own security, and if a seller is reluctant to follow it, then i refuse to deal with them.

would you buy a brand new car from a 10 year veteran car salesman, or from some guy who is on their very first day on the job ??? (thats a silly question for you i think, i know what your going to say)

i fully understand internet etiquette and culture, i am 56, and i have been around computers and the internet for a very very very long time, possibly a lot longer than you might imagine, so i do fully understand how things work, i just dont agree with your logic in your first comment.

it reminds me of the bank manager who wont give someone a loan for a car because they have no "credit rating" or "credit history" and this person asks the bank manager how they are meant to get a "credit history" if nobody will lend them money in the first place to gain a "credit history"

its a rediculous situation, and the logic in both situations is totally flawed.

Define Troll? I see a Troll as someone whilst being faceless enjoys and gets a kick out of bullying others by writing derogatory and insulting words within a forum, social network or email. I think 98% of newbies are not Trolls.
