This October we are honored to bring you a full schedule of fun and educational workshops and performances. Spend your weekend with hundreds of drum circle enthusiast. Learn about culture and traditions through drum & dance from around the world. Experience a village atmosphere where families can enjoy activities that promote self empowerment through music. You can look forward to these amazing percussion ensemble performances: Orlando Sanchez presents; The World Beat’niks, an ensemble of professional percussion artist that perform with percussion instruments from around the world. Tampa Taiko will perform traditional and non-traditional Japanese Taiko drumming. Ron Collins and Julius Mendoza deliver the mighty rhythms with power and precision! Tuatha Dea is traveling from Gatlinburg Tennessee to perform a blend of “Modern Tribal Celtic Music”. Tuatha Dea can be translated as “Children of the Gods”. Didges Christ SuperDrum is a non-traditional ensemble that blends the Australian Didgeridoo and World Percussion with modern technology. Didges Christ SuperDrum is a fun and haunting experience! You have the opportunity to enjoy these workshops with the entire family! Many of the workshops are taught on all levels of play and technique and encourage the families to participate.
