$500 Question

This is for everyone that's become a victim of our economy.

We all have it tough these days and we all know the statistics. There aren't any jobs. They say that if we start spending more of the money we make, then the economy will jump start itself.

If someone, say the government (in the form of a... what do they call it?... bail out.?) gave you $500 - what exactly would you spend it on?

You answer can't be bills and it can't be drugs/sex either!!!
What would you buy to help "stimulate" (arouse?) the economy?

My answer: A New Tv ($350), Dishes and Sheets ($100) and $50 in clothes for my son!

 

new pair of glasses, bunch of beads n shit, and a ukulele

or,, a shortscale acoustic bass w/ case so i can busk n travel with it!!

 

More than likely car parts.

I would have the windows tinted on my car. And probably spend the rest at the bar.

For an alternative answer I would love to take the $500 and use it to take my husband on a late honeymoon!

A years member ship at costco http://www.costco.com/ is a bit over $50 , some food ,a 30 pac of bud, and a tank of gas should come to about $500 . desert rat

 

A $500 honey moon for me would be about the gas to drive to San Dego CA. 2 nights in a motel 6 ,two meals at taco bell , and the gas back . Not that I am saying there is any thing wrong with that . desert rat

well my first answer would be student loan repayment, and my second answer would be drugs/sex.

since those are unavailable, i'd probably take a 3 day vacation somewhere.

p.s. If you read that one sine from tombstone , it reads , during a public hanging no cat calls , spitting or loud farting . I thought that was interesting .

 

I'd probably spend it all at the wholesale club, since I panic when I'm down to 6 rolls of toilet paper these days.

Either that, or I'd use it to buy 1/4 of the fridge that I want but can't fit in my kitchen.
