For 11-13yos.. they have a pretty good vocabulary..

I think Tim is gay.. what 11yo uses the word "Unfashionable"?

Don't be such a nostalgic crybaby, it is only logical kids these days don't dig freaking Atari games. I wouldn't expect otherwise. You can't blame them for not liking these old games anymore.

I'm sure most of the old school games those kids couldn't even beat.. the puzzle games back in the day were not easy.. now they are a cake walk and boring.. gfx and "game play" matter more than depth and difficulty these days

I think those things are more unfortunate indeed. Can't deny I'm a sucker for good graphics though, happily some combine that with depth as well but the difficulty thing in general is a bit lame I agree.

Hey, try putting some of them in the room with the old INFOCOM games!!! LOL!

I would LOVE to see their commentary on TEXT-BASED games!

Those were some of the best games, and our family used to try and solve them together. Some of them were REALLY hard.

I enjoyed the Zork series, Cutthroats, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, and a SLEW of other games.. There was a disc lying around somewhere with all 1000 infocom games, maps, and manuals... *sigh... If only we could find those again..

Not only were they fun, they encouraged you to use your head, and of course promoted good reading and spelling!

That's not my stance. They have the same capabilities to see actual good stuff. They just have a different supply to choose from and grew up with (not such evil garbage by definition).
