Me and my girlfriend have been dating almost 2 years. We work at the same place which is putting a strain on our relationship. I don't really have a problem with it but She does. So I got offered a job somewhere else but I don't really like this job compared to my current one. I love the job I have now. I'm not sure what to do it seems like it's either take a job I hate or risk losing my girlfriend. Any advice?
We're both equally dominant, although she has a 2 year contract with her job and I don't. So I'm the only one that can leave but I love my job. I'm a petstylist at Petsmart, the new job id be taking is as a vets assistant. The pay is better and is right next to where i live but being around sick animals is not something id like to do.
So you think the vets job is more fun and better? She has made it clear that us having the same job would be unhealthy for our relationship. She would break up with me if worse came to worse because like I said, I don't really have a problem with it but I see where she's coming from. I mean, we see each other everyday and when we are off we hangout (we don't lI've together) we had to take a break recently because She felt like we were just friends bc we saw each other too much. We never have time to miss each other. But also, she's the one who got me the job at PetSmart.. Now that I finally found a job I love I'm just expect to up and leave because SHE isn't happy? What about my happyness? Seems like she's asking a lot from me but not vise versa.
Just the fact that we see each other almost everyday at work then when we hangout outside of work we just take each other for granted bc we don't have time to miss each other.
If you want to miss each other try to have a space in between you. Too much closeness sometimes choking and you can't breathe anymore. Try to weigh things to work it out. good luck
