    "Down there".

I find that with shaving down there, I'll occasionally get a very annoying rash-looking thing and frankly, I have to say I find it more then a little embarrassing. Especially while I do find myself wearing bikinis a fair bit now that the sun is getting some bite to it.

I know I could always go a wax, but (excuse the pun) I'm a bit of a pussy when it comes to the thought of it.

I've gone for the hair removal cream, but that doesn't solve the rash thing seeing as I have to use a razor to tidy it up anyways.

Can you avoid that rash thing or have ya come up with a way to get rid of it?

    Cheers! :2thumbsup: :daisy:

I'm not going to tell you what to do but waxing has quite a few advantages.

Less regrowth being the most important one.

I've heard there are creams and other oils you can put on it to stop it or make them less noticeable.

Here's one I pulled up on Google

You could always do what the hippies do--avoid consumer products, respect the natural world, and spit in the face of convention. If there's hair there, leave it alone. In fact, enjoy it.

Oh, the hippies. Wasn't there a website for them, before we all moved to BoringFollowTheTrendForums?

Personally, I think waxing is the way to go. It lasts for weeks, and when it does start to grow back, it grows back much finer and without the embarrassing razor bumps you get with shaving. The first time I got waxed, I too was scared that it would be really painful but I found that it's actually not that bad. The first few times, I made sure to take some Tylenol about 20 minutes beforehand. After a while, I got used to it enough not to need any.

Maybe she's not looking to be an au naturale hippie and she's doing what SHE chooses to do instead of what everyone else is doing?

Anyway, ymAesoR, I use Nude shaving lotion from Surprise Parties. It's one of those sex toy party things in the States, but you can order it on their .com website. I'm not sure if you being from Australia would make it difficult, but maybe you could find something similar. I'm too chicken to wax, lol.

If you're upset by being reminded here on Hipforums of what hippies stand for, maybe you'd do better at Cosmopolitan magazine's site. Here, I've looked it up for you:

I can assure that I am not upset but I find your comments rather amusing in all their hypocrisy.

Whatever happened to tolerance and being non-judgemental?

You, my friend, are no better than a corporate thug who believes he absolutely must wear a tie to work.

A patch of hair does not make you a hippie.

You obviously need some help answering that one.

As for being corporate and compulsively neat, is it the shaved/plucked/chemically-defoliated people or the unshaved ones who fit the model? I say it's the unshaved ones who are free, in body and spirit. Hippies were never noted for compulsive grooming!

But, you're free to make a slave of yourself if that's what you want. You'll find Cosmopolitan beside the cash register at most supermarkets.

    The model? There's a model?

But I was wrong. You're not a corporate thug.

You sound more like hypocritical priest bashing gay people because they're different.

i'm very interesting to see how you're accessing the internet from the 'natural world' without using a 'consumer product'.

don't be so judgemental - do you really think someone is someone less legitimate because they groom themselves?

Instead of soap i use my hair conditioner.
I find it works better to soften the skin and hair for a smoother shave.

Oooh! I think I'll see if I can find that, or something similar too! Thanks. :2thumbsup:

    Thanks Kinky!

It shouldn't be too hard to find something like that either! I'll take a look around. :)

Actually, I did give waxing a go a few nights ago, and MY GAWD it fuckin' hurt! I never thought my voice had the ability to go that high. Think of Ickis from Aahhh Real Monsters high pitched. But it was worth it! It's certainly looking allot better down there now, anyways.
