Six of my friends and I left for a place called Pocket Wilderness in Dayton, TN. It began snowing as we were driving to the parking spot. We hiked on to the campsite alongside the creek and huge boulders that were quickly beginning to be completely covered with a powdery white snow... It was Magical!!!! And COLD!!! We set up our tents and quickly got the fire going, then hiked for a couple more hours... Temps were in the teens with windchill lower than that, which for a Tennessean is Very Cold!!! Once my guy and I got in our 2 man tent, stripped down (brrrrrrrrrrr), and snuggled inside 2 sleeping bags with a huge down blanket over us, our body temps were just the best heaters!!! By the way... we slept on his rockclimbing crash pads-- very comfortable! The only downside is that NO ONE brought a camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay for my first snowy camping experience!!!!!!!
