I thought it would be a heatwave this year.Well perhaps next year all the London lines will melt into each other. This year has been wet. Summer is now over:(

Beautiful September weather in the North East :) I'm looking forward to a rainy autumn and snowy winter for a change. May as well embrace it, ay :)

I agree with Branford...I find the cold weather and changeable skies atmospheric...Days of unbroken sunshine just drive me nuts..

Hate to burst yer bubbles, chaps and chappettes-but here in East Anglia I've been mooching around on the beach with the pooches in just an undone shirt. It did rain a bit-but this is England,so hardly a surprise. other than the drop of rain we're still doing the warm thing.

Do you think I could use this thread as evidence climate change is real?

    Data spanning 2007-2012.

    I know it's a fairly small sample : /

Oh, It's wet and raining here right now.

    Met Office.
The area of low pressure northwest of Spain will move northeastwards across the British Isles over the next day. Closely spaced isobars near the low pressure centre indicate strong winds, and these will affect the UK on Monday. The system will also bring rain to most areas, with this becoming very heavy in some places.

Updated: 0730 UTC on Sun 23 Sep 2012

    Spot on.

Translated for the less meterological among us.....

The meteorologist fella noticed the birds weren't flying and thought "I bet it's going to rain".

*Chuckle* - they might as well.

I hate weather forcasters on TV.

They say the same thing all the time.

In winter there is always a 'touch of frost'.

In autumn it is always 'autumnal' (NSS).

...and in the summer it's always raining :D
