Yesterday, I over heard Canada post is going to retire their aluminum step-van.

    I have an random thoughts.

What if I buy one and use it for day-to-day transport and summer camping.

    P.S. I am not smoking too much:smilielol5:

Yeah, they were popular back in the day, In the old Divcos there was a button accelerator somewhere on the running board, or somewhere, so you could drive it while standing up. Just push the seat back out'a your way. We would also ride on the motor hump in the front of the cab.

Oooo! I'd love to convert a Canada Post truck.

I wonder what they run on.

It refers to the actual step that's a part of the van, that helps your step up or down.

Every Bus And Van That Was Ever Produced Had Steps,

Why Not Just Call It A Postal Van Like We Do....

The original Divos (1922) could be driven from the front, rear, or either running board. The first one had a front hinged door and the driver could step ahead of the front axle..
