Yup you read right. Ever since we got new roommates, the new roommates decided that they dont like how i chill in the main area all the time and dont like the way i live, whatever the fuck that means.
Such bullshit i was here first, i dont get how they even have a say in it. I always thought they were pretty chill hooking me up with all sorts of weed n shit whenever i want. Ya fuck em. Acting all chill with me then they all secretly go behind my back voting me out.
i have til the 15th to find a place, and i already decided to be homless before ever going back to sober living.
I have never been homeless before this is gonna suck ass.

Homeless as in living in a cardboard box or homeless as in living in a car or on a friend couch.

I use to be homeless only because it was fun. But then it wasn't fun so I rented a house LOL

^i was first homeless in san fran. it was fun, but sucked sometimes.
then i lived in a car for a long time on and off and couch surfed. sometimes fun, sometimes sucked.
then after having a job, and a place to live paying rent for 5 years i decide to..
go back to cali. and i became a bum again. BUT i had the impression i was going to live w/ my friend. so,, i got jipped.
so then i went back home to florida, lived w/ my old roomate, couldnt find a job, and
back to being a bum. which i am currently. hey i make jewelry and sell it the drunks downtown. so im just homeless, not a bum i guess. hey if you need advice or anything ill help you, use the library to talk to us. and hey its almost harvest season up north, you could hitch up to mendo and try to trimm. get some $$$ in your pockets.

ps: what's santa cruz like? when i was in cali last time, i wanted to check it out, but never did.

Thanks a heap slappy, i just may hold you to that. Yeah im not too bad at trimming, theres a bunch of it to do around here too.
Sc is my favorite place in the world. Not only is everybody here 420 friendly, we have literally the best weed in the world. I love the beach so much, everybody is laidback as fuck and easy to get along with, beautiful redwoods the 2nd tallest tree in the world. Only thing missing is snowboarding. But you can drive 6 hours to, or get there in 4 by doing 100 plus the whole way like i used to lol.

I was homeless, living in a car, quite a few times and for a month at a time during the past year, and I did not like it one bit.

Update, somebody emailed me they are trying to get a place with a few people already working on it together so mabey im all good. They seem way chill.

 

i could tell ya bout this place. its got its ups and downs. in some wayz it's similar to cali, but also its waaay different man. i live on the east coast now.

 

i don't understand how they can "vote you out" either. are you on a reality show?

isn't your name on the lease? how will your credit get fucked if you stay??

 

well, it's not that uncommon for not everybody's name to be on the lease when multiple people are sharing an apartment.

not exactly smart, but not uncommon either.

 

the law is probably on your side with this.


if you signed a lease, you have a right to be there.

if you didn't sign a lease, you probably have a tenant-at-will arrangement. the laws may vary from state to state, but usually the land lord has to issue an eviction notice by the first of the month, and you have 30 days to find new housing.

your roommates can't just "vote you off the island" because they feel they have the authority. anyone who tells you that you have to go has to be the land lord or a lease holder, and even then they still have to issue a legal notice.

if you don't feel like leaving, you don't have to go.

you could also talk to the landlord and ask to sign a lease if you don't have one.

 

giving room mates space is an important part of being a good room mate...so is paying back weed that is given to you...so is not licking the cheese
