well, we have found out that the codes do exist for earthen, straw bale, or conventional structures here unless they are 120 sq. ft. or less. but to get a larger structure built, the plans just have to be submissable w/ an architect and an engineers stamp. so that is no problem. i am in touch with some local people that do this kind of thing and they can give me submittable plans and actually may provide some of the labor with a workshop that they will put on on our property if we use their plans. so that is cool and sounds promising so far. for temporary, until spring most likely, we are going to get a modular or 2, maybe RV's and go ahead and get the greenhouses up and running, get the land ready for the organic gardens, and get to clearing and cutting lots of wood, so we still are in want of a young family or two to join this endeavor of ours. we have a young daughter and my wife really wants a female with a child to keep company with. any takers. we will not starve and are not starting this project with nothing, so in case that is something keeping you away then don't let it. we have revised some of our membership agreements to be more easy to understand and i think more fair. we would like for whoever comes to contribute as much as possible with labor and money, because after all this is a co-operative effort!! but money is not even a main reason at all that we want people. look at our site if you haven't lately and see if you want to at least send us some positive vibes. we haven't really even had too many positive energies sent our way. www.co-operativeeffort.com all our love--rabbit and morea
