This may make me seem somewhat naiive, but seriously, this is something I often thought about...

When a woman inserts a tampon, do they get any degree of sexual stimulation from it, in the same way as they might by using a dildo? If so, do they tend to get diverted towards getting a session in as a result? Also, on a similar basis, what about when it comes to removing the tampon?

Personally, I don't. I'm usually just pissed I'm on my damn period again ;) It doesn't stop me from masturbating if I get the urge though.

nope to tampons causing me to get excited. pushing a rolled up wad of cotton in there to stop blood from leaking out is not a sexy act at all, lol.

Does inserting a suppository or taking a shit excite gay men? Somehow I doubt it. I am guessing the same thing applies here.

Actually, I've also had the same thoughts why a bowel movement doesn't provide the same sexual stimulation to the prostate as penile penetration does. After all, the nerve endings are still there, but it doesn't feel the same. It doesn't seem to make sense.

actually, it does make sense. a bowel movement is not a 'sexy' act (at least to the majority of us! lol), so our brain is not stimulated in a sexy way during the bowel movement. sexual stimulation is not just physical, there is a mental component as well.

I have asked my wife that exact question, and it is a big no from her.

going in, no, it's not a turn on it's a hygienic necessity but I've had a man take it out for me in prep for sex play and that was hot!

LOL, I too had this question for a long time..

Thanks for taking the heat and asking it LOL...

As to the whole bowel movement thing.. That part has always been a head scratcher to me too.

Thing is.. When you take a dump sometimes it feels good. But it is not in a sexual way, least for me LOL.. It just good to "get a load off".

Anyway back to tampons etc.. I guess it makes sense that if they are on their period it's not the right time to be thinking about sexual impulses. I also wondered about when they get checked out for pap smears etc, as they are pretty much having something jammed in there. Wife says it's like being raped :(

so not true! many women are just as sexually 'impulsed' during their periods as when they are not. and many have sex while on their period, and enjoy it thoroughly - myself included.

OK.. Never thought about that. While I have had intercourse, while the wife was on her period, I never really thought of it as her "Hot" time.

Right before and of course right after big GREEN LIGHT! LOL....
