Exactly how long would LSD stay in your system?

I have a drug test coming up before I leave my hometown for a long time. I am interested in having one last trip on LSD before I go...

I looked it up, but can't really seem to get a straight answer on how long this would stay in your system. Also is there really any way to detox this? I wouldn't think there would be but I still wonder...

 

1-4 days in urine tests but it most likely won't even be tested for.

The only reason you would be tested for it, is if you are suspected of using/dealing LSD.

Like if you were arrested with it, your probation officer might request it to be added to the test. It is a lot more expensive to test for, and they don't have justifiable reasons to test everyone for LSD.

 

Hmm while what the other members posted is true for urine tests. I've been told it shows up in hair tests. Idk if its a fact or not just sayin. Good Luck!

 

I'm pretty sure it's a full lab test. It's for a government program, Americorps. Hmmm...the probably wouldn't test for it. It's rather hard knowing if it's LSD the only clue I get is twice I have tasted a bitter botter. Ohhh, how much easier things would be if drugs were legal and I didn't have to rely on the word street dealers....however, who I get it from tests it first before selling, so he's noble.

You'll be fine, you could trip the day before a test and get away scot free. I know kids who were getting drug tested from their parents because they were caught smoking weed. They switched to acid, and have passed every single drug test!

I'm not sure you even read my post...it says (basically) that if you are on probation, you pay for your tests.

If they have reason to suspect you are using LSD, they will test for it, and you will pay for it - cost is not considered as a reason why they wouldn't test for it.

My post had nothing to do with how long it stays in system.

Also: the fact that you hang out with people that "switch to acid" because they are getting drug tested by their parents makes me reason to think you are not too bright of a person to be giving some of the advice that you are.

 

First part of the quote from that reference. LSD is not tested for in standard or cheap tests. It goes on to list the possible ways to find LSD if requested, it then adds that even still there is not much to worry about, and the second reference shows even if tested for it would be out of the system in 1-2 days.

I read what you wrote, even if OP is tested here for LSD on that rare occasion he'd pass if he tripped two days beforehand.

Lsd metabolites can last up to 4 days which can be one of the things they will test for in the unlikely event they test for LSD.

 

Srs, don't worry about it. Like everybody said, if they have a reason to test for acid they might, and it would be really expensive. So just don't go around telling the people who are drug testing you that you like to take acid. A drug test for a job, even a government one, will be a standard 5 panel test. No company is going to pay ridiculous excesses of money to ensure that it's employees don't use LSD especially considering its relative low rate of use and the difficulty in testing for it.

Purp, you're right that probation drug testing is paid for by the person on probation, but that whole point doesn't apply to OP because he's taking a pre-employment screen. I would feel pretty confident telling anyone in this country that they shouldn't worry about acid showing up on a pre-employment drug screen.

 

I didn't read that it was pre-employment. I thought that I just might mention that cost is NOT a factor in a probation situations.

I'm not on probation and I feel completely safe to trip. This test will just be a full lab test, not anything specifically for LSD. Thankss!
