Just a little idea I've had bouncing about in my mind... Most people have probably come across the wind up torches commonly available now, which are charged as required by turning a handle or by squeezing side levers. Having read this far you're probably ahead of me by now - why not apply this technology to a simple vibrator? Not only would it be more eco-friendly, dispelling the need & consequent waste of batteries, but the inconvenience of not having any batteries on hand at the time you most want one. It could also at to the sensation of the session when the manual charge begins to wear off, automatically varying the intensity of the vibe. Unfortunately it costs a fortune to take out a patent, but even if it did become a best seller I'd be content to know I thought of it first.
The problem of that idea is the lack of equal energy dispersion. Those wind up torches/flashlights start off strong and within 20 minutes gradually get weaker and weaker, then you gotta wind up again. That would be annoying and doesn't beat quicker contact, take the device off the genitals, and reapply. --- But the concept is a good idea, just increase battery technology and perhaps it can be done. But I doubt these could be made waterproof...which is also a popular feature on most toys.
True...still I think more and more toys are using rechargable lithium ion batteries actually. I know jimmyjane and ohmibod are. Rabbits still use AA though I think... My counter claim was the wind up.
I have rechargeable AA batteries, have a little adapter in the wall. I don't have a rabbit to put them in or anything but It'd work the same. I like the wind-up idea tho, maybe just an adapter to charge the batteries, in case the outlet isn't working or something.
What about solar chargers somehow? I have a solar charger for my phone and it works fairly well even in rainy Manchestee.
Solar chargers would work better IMHO. Windup tech though I don't think is sufficient for the energy you need for a vibe though. It would start out strong for a bit and get weaker and weaker...pause wind for 3 min, start over because the arousal was lost...and you need both hands to wind something up.
Use a small 9 volt battery (the type with terminals at same end ) & touch them against the end or of the penis (when foreskin is pulled back) & see how much of a tingling effect it gives. Or place something made of metal (ie: penis ring ) against the genitals (male / female) & it's up to how much you can bare the effect it gives out. Or try using a gel type lube with it as well - effect may give even more sensations!
There are different types of winding handles, as well as the basic round & round type. There are also those with scissor type handles, or with a single lever, like on a grease gun. The gearing can be made so that just a few squeezes can charge up for so much longer.
