Have you ever just been like trying to sleep then get a deep sinking feeling?

Yep, or rocking or general floatiness or such... Usualy have more vivid/lucid dreams when that happens, and some would link it to astral projection if you're into such things...

It feels as though I'm falling into Sleep.
Falling as in physically falling into a Black Hole.

It's more apt to occur when I'm extremely exhausted/stressed...

Sometimes when I'm lying in bed about to go to sleep and I realize that I forgot something or I have to pee or whatever and I start to get up, all of a sudden I feel like something is weighing me down and I get even sleepier than I had been like three seconds earlier. It's weird. So, sometimes I do that to trick myself.... If I can't get to sleep, I'll pretend I'm getting up to get something, and I just get all lazy feeling. It's strange.

I think I know what you're talking about, though. You just start to feel like you weigh 500 pounds or something... haha :)

If nothing else, it could lead to a trance, and deep sleep... That kind of stuff happens to me, and I quite enjoy it... I sometimes think I like sleeping too much...

Sometimes I'll catch myself for no reason. I'll be lying in bed and then suddenly move to prevent myself from slipping off of the bed.

I also enjoy listening to the on-the-cusp-of-sleep thoughts. Last night I was thinking something about sleeping 1/4 of the night in the Hindu way and the other part in the Christian way and then I'd write an essay about my findings.

That's usually right about where I fall into a dream.

once i got out of bed and walked up to the breakfast table and was about to grab the cereal-and them my mom shook me awake. i wonder if that was an out of body experience...

I start to get shivers all over, and that's when the sinking feeling comes.
I hate it when you're dreaming that you're about to fall off of something and then you jump up in bed to catch yourself.

I don't usually get a falling feeling (although when I do, I savor it, because it's hell of cool) but I do get a feeling where the inside of my head encompasses the entire universe. I look inside my closed eyes and can't see the end... it's black, but there's this general feeling of going on forever in all directions. Quite pleasant.
