how important is sex in a relationship

    I should add that the quality and natural enthusiasm matters a great deal too. Not just getting sex.

    But if the relationship is unhealthy, then the guy just wants your living body and that's good enough before he dumps you and moves on. In that case enthusiasm is a moot point.

    Sex never saves a doomed unhealthy relationship. But lack of it can ruin one.

    Its funny. When I was younger, I would say it was the most important thing. However, the older I get, the less important it gets.

    I was seeing a guy who was 21 and a virgin, and he said he wanted to wait till marriage.
    Let's just say it was a short lived relationship.

    Who played the "let's break up card"?

    Did he maintain his values? Good for him if that's what he wants, he should hold out for it. It just may not be you.
