Gonna to try swedish shrooms

So in about 2 weeks, some friends and I are going to take shrooms (Liberty Cap, Psilocybe semilanceata).

I have had experience with MDMA/E, LSD, Magic Truffles, 4-ho-met.
And well, a lot of weed and hash.

I guess magic truffles is the most resembling thing to magic mushrooms, I took truffles twice in amsterdam. The first time I was really tripping visually and everything looked really awesome, the second time it was more of an "inward" trip, I cried uncontrollably and everything just felt really weird. It wasn't really a bad trip, just bothering and kind of uncomfortable.

So, any advice and words of wisdom to guide me through my first real magic mushroom-trip?

We´ll be 7 persons; 4 of us are somewhat experienced with drugs, the others not that much. And 2 of them have taken mushrooms several times before and really know what they´re doing. We´ll probably be outside camping in the woods (Yeah, just like in the b-horror flick "Shrooms"... hah. We´re probably gonna end up dead!)

No but, we really do take this seriously and we´re not just some stupid kids. So please let me know anything you think I should know and think about. eace:


Also, anyone know a good documentary on magic mushrooms?

 

It's gonna be pretty much the same as truffles, but either stronger or weaker depending on how much you take/took(a truffle is essentially a mushroom that grows underground instead of above). The libs might be a little bit "darker", or "heavier".. I really don't know what I'm trying to describe.. it's hard.
Basically, I tripped on some cubensis a while back and they just seemed a little "easier" than liberties.. not that liberties are a harder trip, a shrooms a shroom and things could go anywhere - but I put it down to some different alkaloids present in liberties that aren't in cubes that just give it a slightly different feel. But, it could have been my set/setting - as I've only got that 1 cube trip to go off.

Anyway, same shit applies to any trips.. go with the flow of things. You're completely comfortable with all the people you're tripping with, right? If you are, state beforehand that if any of you wanna break away from the group, just do it and don't feel you need to stay. On the flipside, make sure that the others should respect that decision and not get all pissy about it.
If you aren't, I'd probably drop out. It's a long voyage, and there's plenty of time for someone you don't click with to muck up your trip..

I don't like tripping with more than 3 or 4 people, just cos there's more chance of having conflicting decisions/ideas/feelings - but if you set some vague rules it helps things a lot.

Also if you're going camping.. blankets, blankets, blankets! And if there's been rain recently, a tarp would help to lay underneath the blankets so you can still chill and lay down without getting soaked. That's probably the thing that gets to me most when camp-tripping.. I just wanna get comfy!

Edit: Don't forget to take some sweet, sweet cheeba - passing joints on a group trip just seems to unify everyone, eases everyone onto similar wavelengths. Bring plenty though, cos there's a lot of you..

Thanks for the advice with the weed; and I´ll definitely try and remember a shit load of blankets and comfortable clothes. I´ve been concerned with the fact that we´ll be 7 persons as well. But we´re a group of people that all know each other really good, so I think it´ll work out. Maybe we´ll split up into little groups, who knows.

My boyfriend will be there so I guess I´ll pay a lot attention to him since he´s never had an psychedelic experience before.

Not sure if I´d let anyone walk away from our campside alone. I mean that´s just like exactly what happens in the movie shrooms before everyone dies, so yeah. Stay together, keep our shit together, turn on, tune in, drop out.

Hmm.. some of them don't look like libs to me, could be wrong but I personally wouldn't be eating some of those. Have a google of any poisonous lookalikes in your area - there aren't any deadly ones round here but I've gathered that you're not in the UK.

Plus, I think you'll need some more between 7 - otherwise you could be a little disappointed. Eye balling it, I'd say that's a moderate trip for 1 person - if they're all semilanceata.

 

We´re going to a different place tomorrow to pick more, hopefully a lot more if the place is what they promise it to be. I´m really suspicious about some of them not being the real deal, but we´re meeting up with a guy who´s been doing and selling shrooms for supposedly 20 years tomorrow. Hopefully he´ll sort out the fake ones.

There are no deadly shrooms around here similar to liberty cap, that´s somewhat of a relief.

We´ll just see how it goes, and hopefully I will have a nice, non-leathal trip this week-end.
