An Eye for an Eye

I posted a photograph of an eye the photography forum and thought I might as well do the same thing here. This is a Prismacolor sketch I did some years ago (still posting old work). The Prismas are laid over a warm grey mat board, which is a great way to work with Prismas. You can't beat the intensity of the color you achieve by working over that mid grey smooth board. It doesn't really matter, but this is life size.

 

Awesome dude, love the colours in the iris.. I'd still really like to see some recent stuff though

 

Thanks Bro. I'd love to post some recent stuff. The trouble is I don't have anything recent. I have some steel, but no paint . I think my days as a painter are over.
