Stretching ear's

HI all, i just started stretching my ear's i have gone from an 18mm to 2.5mm, I have in 2 metal plugs. How long some i Waite before going up to 3.5mm?
I am a fast healer, i have loads of other piercing and well in to tattoo. I design tattoos for a living as well. Just im not up on stretching lol. Any advice would be grateful.

 

Here is a timeline:

Fresh piercing to first stretch: Approx 5 to 6 months
16g to 14g - 1 month
14g to 12g - 1 month
12g to 10g - 1.5 months
10g to 8g - 2 months
8g to 6g - 3 months
6g to 4g - 3 month
4g to 2g - 3 months
2g to 0g - 4 months
0g to 00g - 4 months

 

Its really not that complicated, I really don't think waiting 3-4 months is necessary, I think the longest I ever waited to go up a size was maybe a month.

But everybody is different I guess. The risk of infection certainly goes up if you try to stretch them too fast tho.

 

Or you could just skip the process like I did for my top plugs and get them dermal punched. Hurts but it cut the money cost of having to buy tapers and plugs(I lost all mine from my previous ear stretching). I have had no problem with infection when I got my ears punched but when I stretched them, there was a couple days where they were infected as to wearing the taper too long.

 

once you get up in size you gotta start watching out for blow outs if it does all you gotta do is go back down in size work her back to way it should be then go back up, i had to do that so i could get my 12 gauge shotgun shell in.
as for buying plugs, tapers, etc. i think i maybe bought two sets of 0's but i just find stuff clean it and shove it in my ears lol

You don't want to get your lobes dermal punched as that removes tissue, and you need tissue for stretching or you will end up with thinning and that will restrict the size you can stretch to.

And you should never wear tapers as jewellery, just so you know.

 

Don't forget to disinfect and air out your plugs or whatever you call them.

 

HI everyone, im now at 7mm wont be trying my 8mm in till after xmas. im looking at stretching my 2 other ear piercings as well have 3 lobe piercings in each ear and a 4th on my left ear at the top. will it look ok to stretch the others?

 

I'm on 8g at the moment and they never smell. Your ears will only smell if you don't clean them.

 

I now have 7mm in first hole in both ears, second hole 2mm in both ears and 2mm in third hole both ears thanks for all your advice.
