What Jesus said about his presence and the conclusion of the system of things

While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads ​YOU;for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.YOU​ are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that ​YOU​ are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
“For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.
“Then people will deliver ​YOU​ up to tribulation and will kill ​YOU, and ​YOU​ will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name.Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another.And many false prophets will arise and mislead many;and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

A lot of scholars think those passages are prophecy about the sacking of Jerusalem in 70 AD and the subsequent Roman persecution of Christians under Nero's rule.......but who knows.

 

I thinks this is why I never talk to Jehovah Witnesses..

Well, both God and mankind are and have always been full of it?
I'm not a fan. But I must say that Jesus and John said there would be and there seems to be more every year. I too speculate that "Apocalypse" "the revealing" may have been about the destruction in 70 AD because Christians were heavily slaughtered and hunted/hated in those times.
Nonetheless, there are a number of similarities in today's world and "bible-wise speaking" it could mean both.
I'm not a fan, I'm just saying that even if you don't think it's necessary and (God forbid!) there is no God, mankind is doing it more than ever and only worse in sight?
War gives people a reason that is necessary for a human, as opposed to straight euthanasia whch seems less humane mentally, and spiritually which is cruel "from the spirit to the stone".

To do exactly what it does, say that it means YOU! heh heh yeah, I don't really get that tho I can see it - lets see if it works! "Heavenly Father! You know the terrible evil and things happening to me that I can't even figure out, but if ya would father, take this cup from ME, for I am not strong enough anymore to bear a drop; but ya know I'uh do it if ya have me to...help ME Father! Amen ~
