What news channel do you like best? (If any.) BBC,Sky,Russia Today or Aljazeera? I was watching Russia today until they started showing ads.Now I think Aljazeera has the best news and documentaries.( I find Russia Today a bit hypocritical.Although I am in tune with their critique of what goes on in Europe and The USA,They rarely report on Russia's problems such as corruption, poverty and Putin's and Medeved's stranglehold on Russian politics.)
These days I get most of my news content on Facebook - from my own feed and those of friends: BBC/Huffington Post / Democracy Now /WSJ and a few groups: Still Laughing At The English Defence League/ The Wright Stuff / Occupy the London Stock Exchange. Most of them irritate the hell out of me with their bias - but I prefer that than agreeing with everything that others say - not that I've ever found a news source I agree with that much *cough*. I tend not to watch TV news that much anymore. But do catch BBC news now and again - if there isn't any smug sods on air. Either first thing in the morning (BBC Breakfast) or late at night. I never watch ITV news - it is too sensationalist. I never watch - C4 news (aside from the early evening news is there much news on C4?) I gave RT a chance for a while because I was bored of the others - and it was supposed to be good. Aside from it's crazy conspiracies dressed up as news - Rory Suchet and Max Keiser are really annoying so I tend to avoid RT now. I avoid BBC news before 6am because Rico Hizon annoys the hell out of me - and there is a big black dude that gives me nightmares. So, I tend to get my news from all over the place - a kinda kaleidoscope of sources.
I recommend aljazeera. It sounds like propaganda but the news is actually quite good and really global and they have some great documentaries.
i don't watch tv or read the papers. not interested on what goes around me, the world can blow up in a huge aids infested explosion for all i care! :sunny:
