    I am attempting to send this just as the day fades into night of this year's Solstice here where I am typing it.

    May the lengthening of the coming days bring you good & cheer & the shortening of the nights take away misfortune & unhappiness.

    Aye -- the solstice is a great festival. Yule was celebrated in country a little to northerl;y for my liking, so I phrase it thusly:

    IO SATURNALIA!!!!!
