National "Kill A Pitbull Day"

Apparently there is a guy or group or something that is trying to spread the word about killing pitbulls on Halloween.

This worries me, especially since my dog resembles a pitbull.

I think the thing that worries me most, though, is that someone is sick enough to think of this...

sounds like somebody was making fun of that anti-dog councilman mentioned in the article and got taken out of context because the online media needed something new to sensationalize.

 

The fucked up thing is that if this were real and someone tried this.....the dog that fights back will be put down for attacking him.

It's usually cats that are targeted by sadistic yobs on Halloween. I have heard many stories of cats being killed on Halloween, but never dogs. I'm hoping this is just a troll and not someone who is being serious...

I always keep my animals inside. There certainly are a lot of sick people out there. I do worry about the stray cats that are out and about on Halloween though.

People should keep their animals inside on Halloween.

I haven't heard about this, so maybe it'll just go away. Or make the news. Whichever.

 

I know its a big war in my town.

There are pitbull owners and there are non-pitbull owners.

They HATE each other. I don't really care either way because my dog lets me know which dogs to stay away from and which ones are OK (pitbulls or otherwise)...he has that doggy intuition. But I do know there are people who fight their pitbulls in town. A local bar was closed down because of it.

 

All animals should be kept inside on most or all holidays... People are fucking weird.

Sound's like a nice place... not!
