I don't think this is tinnitus, but I have random ringing from time to time. It never really bothered me.
didnt you say..h my earphone are really loud?.. trust me.. I love loud music. but when it damages my ears then its not good music. most bands take days off between shows to recover their ears. or else they will become tone deaf and the audience will suffer to.. They to are not as exposed to it as the audience ..
it will recover, like anything else, broken bone ect.. just takes time.. I was shell shocked in the army, hearing Boom boom boom in my sleep. it goes away..
There are certain frequencies that drive my left ear into distortion and it actually hurts... This is permanent, it's been that way since high school. Damn loud PA that was for a school dance, didn't help that I parked myself one foot away from one of the PA speakers. At reasonable levels though my hearing has not deteriorated as it typically does, I still have a great grasp of high frequencies.
I'm sorry Shivaya---My musician son was just diagnosed with it. He now wears earplugs when they play. I used to work for a guy in a confined space and my habit of whistling would actually bring him to his knees immediately and make him dizzy. I recently read about something new that may help---forget where I saw it. I can hear blood pulsing thru my system with it getting a little louder with each heartbeat. I don't know if this is normal or not?
You can hear your blood pulsing in your head? That sounds like an ear infection. There's an artery that runs right by your ear canal.
I was diagnosed with tinnitus two weeks ago. I feel your pain. I always had some ear ringing but I do have an active outdoor life so I assumed it was just ringing before bed in a quiet room. Few weeks back is was LOUD and I seemed to notice it all day. I freaked out, read stuff on google which never helps and then went to see a doctor who said its tinnitus. My ears started to feel real weird so I thought it may be an infection but I think it's just my brain playing tricks on me. I can hear the high pitch "piiiiiiiiiiiiiing" whenever I want to now, though your brain will find ways to mask it. I find smoking weed to intensify the pinging, sometimes so bad that even the brain seems to be unable to register how high it is and it pitches out. Don't worry, just accept it. It's the easiest way. It's not life threatening, just an inconvenience. My concern is I'm only mid twenties. I'm now wearing ear plugs to music events and motor sports. Very conscious of my ear, doctor says this is a warning my ears are trying to tell me something. Tinnitus may go away, may not. Worrying only makes it worse. Trust me. After a while you just seem to adapt to it and it inevitably becomes queer to not hear it. It's like a comforting little voice.... That doesn't shut up.
eh' I can lean to the side and hear my pulse and blood pumping.. kinda trippy right now too..:_) im not normal.
Also ask other people if they have it, people that are to loud things like metal heads. I found it highly comforting knowing other people have it. >.> They say 1/5 have it.
I can hear your text message?. i wonder what I have?/ and its in color.. help me doc.. ohh Im dying..
I've lived with it for over 20 years. It started with an ear infection and other ear trauma and it will never go away. Fortunately I live in Vegas now so the changing of the seasons don't really bother me. Altitude changes can be painful at times, as can be changes in atmospheric pressures. Hopefully your ENT doctor knows what they are doing.
I have had Tinnitus most (or all) of my life. I remember "listening" to it when I was a young teen in very quiet situations. It was only much later that I found out that it was a condition. I thought that everyone heard like that. Honestly you learn to live with it.
I have also had tinnitus for pretty much my whole life. I try to wear an ear plug when I expect loud noises. It isn't always noticable, other times, it is very load and annoying. Unfortunately, it usually with you for the rest of your life, and is often caused by damage to your inner ear by loud noises. It sucks, but you do learn to live with it. I will also hear my heartbeat in my head as well, just sometimes. I think it has a bit to do with the blood pressure in the arteries in my head, as it does tend to happen when I have or am getting a migraine.
I've also had it my whole life. I suffered from chronic ear infections as a child. They said one more and I would get tubes in my ears. Have you looked into pills you can get at CVS? Or candling? For me, I just keep noise on all the time
