idk but theres this oen house where i live that i see off the freeway, and when i was younger i would try and count all the windows when we drove by cuz it had so many. i can only see like 3/4 of the house though and i counted around 45 or so once
two windows that are like 6 by 4 feet, sliding door and is all window, one window next to door entrance, and one each for the bedrooms...they are all on one side of my house cause the other side is dirt....i live downstairs...and from the road, it looks like the house is 1 floor...my floor is buried...its nice
I wonder what inspired this thread...mmmm http://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...ab7a52-14d6-11e2-9a39-1f5a7f6fe945_story.html 5, btw.
22. Its a nightmare.. Im trying to get them all replaced in the next couple years. but I dont think I will. I have a decent window company give me a deal on them all 99.00 ec, however Ill need to install them ,, they will make them for me, but not put them in. I think I can do it. I have before , when I tossed a Tv set out the window. what I need are more tv sets . this will inspire me to break the windows, and replace them..
One 6ft Sliding Door, And Nine Windows Ranging In Size From Six Feet To Sixteen Inches.... What A Strange Subject For A Thread.... Cheers Glen.
Have You Ever Seen A Window After A TV Set Has Passed Through It.... 22 Windows = 22 TV Sets.... Cheers Glen.
storm windows are mostly broken, the screens stick and are of old metal type, that kinda stink when you put your face up to them. some glass is broken, the wood is old on most of them. the loss of heat and cooling is another. aswell add to value of the home, and look better outside.
I didn't think about it like that. Cheers, Glen. Those are pretty comprehensive reasons to replace your windows. It would be nice to see what your house looks like - but I think you'll take a pass on that one.
Many Many Months Ago He Posted A Pic Of His Then Current Gf's House In The Same Neighbourhood, I Assume His House Is Similar.... Cheers Glen.
its just like this , but 2side to side. This taken from my neighborhood and they all look like this. crackheads stole my awning..
Ok, twenty two windows makes a little more sense now. I hadn't figured it being a (technically) three story property. I think I can spot seven windows just on the front. If it's the same at the back - that's fourteen without breaking into a sweat.
those silly awnings slats just pull right out, they can get them easy... I didnt need that noisy metal shit anyways..
