    Hi there, I have had this re-occurring dream before and im just looking for different interpretations as to what it could mean, so any feedback is appreciated :)
    Ok: here goes;
    It would start with me and a bunch of people hanging around outside a mall, and one of them took off running across the parking lot, laughing. I volunteered to go get him, so I chased him and went in through a side door of the mall. When I went in, he was still laughing whilst climbing some stairs, so I went after him. When I got to the top of the stairs, he was nowhere to be found and I was in my aunt's house for some reason. I would feel compelled to go into the kitchen, which I would, and then approached the stove. It would feel like something was chasing me. I would turn around, and a hooded figure would approach me, holding a scythe. I couldnt see his face, and I would get really scared as if i knew he wanted to hurt me. His robe was black, and looked identical to how i would describe the Grim Reaper. He would float toward me, but I would wake up from fright, in an almost panicked state. This exact dream happened about 3 times in the span of 2 weeks.
    Now, the last time I had it was around the same time. It all went the exact same way, with the stairs and the kitchen and feeling as if I was being chased. But this time, when I turned around and saw the hooded figure, it was wearing a glowing WHITE robe, still with the dark face-hole, but it was almost as if it was radiating peace. I wasnt the least bit scared, even when I saw that the scythe blade was dripping with wet blood. I woke up feeling well rested and at peace.

    :confused:

    So, there you have it. Once again, any kind of feedback is welcome :) thanks guys.

    Death in dreams, even as symbolic as The Grim Reaper, is something that I usually interpret with the meaning of life changes that can't be reversed (death of childhood and such). You have been frightened of a recent or forthcoming change in your life, but have now accepted it. Maybe hanging around in malls is something to be left in the past now.
    Your aunts house interests me a bit. Was this a "safe place" for you in your childhood.

    Thanks for the reply. :)
    Actually, my aunt and uncle didnt always live there. It was my great-aunt's house. She was an extremely religious type of person if that makes a difference. She moved into a retirement home which is where she unfortunately passed away. I used to spend alot of time with my aunt and uncle on weekends at their house and in their barn, where my uncle had chickens, horses, and a goat. Also, a few cats and dogs.

    What makes a difference is what the house means to you. It sounds like a place where you were free of the obligations of daily life, school and such - a place where you can be yourself without having to change. In order to learn and develop it is important to get out of the comfort zone and face reality, but remember that you can return there (the version of it built inside you, that is) to keep your mind safe.
