The news teaser says ^^ ! Whatever it was, it was supposed to make people think twice before buying these sugary/salty calorie busting treats. I was thinking this plot where they put in a punching bag and if you make the wrong selection a glove comes out and punches you in the face! That would make people really not want to try using the vending machine! It could be worse, it could be that if you eat ONE candy bar out of the machine you drop dead. Kind of like "candy bar roulette". Truth is, vending machines are going to start showing the calorie amounts beside the item... damn was I disappointed! Whoa... The vending machine now tells me what I can and can't have? WTF... Well, I suppose if it helps count the calories it's OK, but counting calories is stressful. Just don't eat crap everyday, eat smaller portions (get smaller plates, it helps) and of course get a decent amount of exercise. However, being constantly reminded this crap is bad for you, can't be too good for the mental health either... :afro:
This is unnecessary. Everyone knows that the kind of food you get in a vending machine is unhealthy. If people want to eat crap, then they have every right to eat crap. Putting some annoying calorie numbers on the vending machine isn't going to change much. Of course, when I say "eat crap" I mean "eat unhealthy foods". Although if people want to eat poop, they have every right to do that too. I guess that's the disgusting price of freedom.
