Very interesting...I am Cozmo, and I am a trained hypnotherapist. I have been studying/performing hypnosis for a few years now. I also do chakra energy healing. I also have acting experience on stage and small screen. This sounds like fun, so let me know what's up!

As to why I would 'fit in', I meditated last night and had a vision (for the first time ever) about traveling around the world with a group and performing. I woke up this morning, logged on, which I almost never do this early (it's like 7am here) and came to this section of HipForums (something I've never done before) and I found your post. So, it's meant to be and you cannot do this without me!

I am also an experienced camper, who prefers sitting 'round a roaring fire and sleeping under the stars to a boring four walls and such!

 

This just sounds like such a cool thing to do!
My name is Anna, but I go by many names I love to sing, dance, act, and do lots of crafts, etc. Basically, I get a kick out of performing. But I'm also a very academic person (not that it's extremely relevant, but who cares).

I'm thinking of joining you- if you'll have me- because I feel a dissatisfaction with my life at the moment, and maybe I need a change of pace. I think i'd fit in because I'm easy to get along with, and as you put it "To pursue culture in its finest form, with music, art, food, entertainment, and exotic fair from around the world!" is something I would absolutely love to do.

Like Cozmo, I am an experienced camper who loves the great outdoors. And I don't know if this would come into play at all, but I have no qualms about hunting for food and other necessities, and could be of some assistance in that case.

My name is Jason by the way. Im the co founder of the Merry Mountain Gypsy Fair. We started this idea about a year ago now in upstate New York. Since then we have traveled to Key West, Biloxi, Austin, San Antonio, All over New Mexico, Moab UT, Tahoe CA, Mendocino CA, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, MT Shasta and more to come. Currently we are set up in the northern california area. Were open to just about every kind of person. Just no hardcore drug addicts and moochers. We all pitch together to make shit happen. I envision a cross between the merry pranksters and a modern day gypsy revival.

 

Currently we are a tiny group. Some of us even scattered amongst distant states. But were hoping for that to change. And sometimes change starts in small places, like on silly forums like this one. Our current set up consists of selling handmade crafts, books, vinyl and other odd junk. Were hoping to expand to food, art, inventions, and any other conscious concoction that you can think of. There are also a few musicians in the group. Wed love to also expand on that!!

 

This wont be a paid gig either. Youll be on your own as far as making a profit. Which we as a group will support! Everyone needs to make money. Unfortunately it is what drives the world around us, as unfortunate as that might be. We dont need a bunch of lazy hippies to slow the momentum. We need serious dreamers, thinkers, poets, artists, performers, and hard workers!

 

Jan. / Feb. in OZ is the holiday season so there would be plenty of festivals to join up with.
On the other hand the Candelo Fair is held in April exactly because the tourists have left and the locals can get out again.
