Extremely cool images. There is a certain beauty that forms in the destruction of these things. Tyrsonwood, according to the photo in the link, this is a lychee nut. I've never heard of them myself, but they seem to make great explosive subject matter.
Yes it's a lychee...It's a sweet white fruit.When you peel the tough skin you find a small ball of fruit with a silky texture.From the far east and maybe India I'm not sure...I've had them in Chinese and Indian restaurants.
Those are sick shots.. and lychee's are beautiful fruits! bout the size of a big grape with a big pip in the middle.. sooo juicy and sweet. Hunt them down, you will not be disappointed!
