what do you think of gorgorth?

soooo. after hearing so much about this band. i thought i would check them out and see what i think. there has been a lot of press attention on this band. and i believe there lead singer was dubbed the evilest man in the world. i actually really really like gorgorth. i find there music to be dark creepy and atmospheric . i know this band is a satanic band what ever that is. but what do you metal heads think ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m8BkcIzG7M"]Gorgoroth/God Seed - Live at Wacken 2008 FULL - YouTube

 

I like them too. It's my favourite kind of 'extreme' metal music, or actually the only kind I dig a lot. I think the band is not satanic, just really antichristian.

I like Gorgoroth. I certainly dont share their belief system but they are definetly interesting/fascinating.

 

I use to have "Pentagram" but sold it. I always saw them as one of the more generic bands of the Norwegian BM scene. Some tracks were pretty good but as a whole, they pale in comparison to many other bands.

 

Same here, Destroyer is their highlight for me.

 

Never listened to them. I think the main man also performs in Wardruna but its a completely different style of music, not even metal.

 

Ghaal is in Wadruna but he's not in Gorgoroth anymore.

 

i think of gorgoroth like i do cannibal corpse. I appreciate everything thing they do and like the band in general. But not a fan of the music

 

First two albums are brilliant.
