are you an idiot.. they don't use illegal drugs anymore.. they use the legal kind.. big pharm is the real drug dealer these days.. more kids could probably ramble off a bigger list of pharmaceuticals...

you can look around and find factual information to this.. one that backs it up is how a company wants to use capsaicin(the chemical that makes hot food hot) as an anti-abuse agent.. yet it hasnt found popularity due to the fact that an abuser could 1) OD on the capsaicin before they OD on the pill itself.. 2) makes the pill more unsafe than "street drugs"... the FDA would rather see addicts addicted to oxycotin than heroin is how this is summed up

Giveitaway giveitaway giveitaway now. Don't let them take your right to have it.
Tax stamp is how they initially tried to control marijuana.

Not really sure if it was meant as a joke or a warning. It came to me in a 'flash vision'.

if they legalize it there, wonder how many people would just up and leave for WA. every state in america will lose a significant amount of people, and washinton will become a giant city

Looks like the lead in favor is dissapearing in Colorado. Real fucking shame too, since I'm moving there in a couple months.

    And are you for real?

About moving to where it is legal...if weed were to become legal, I would honest to God seriously consider doing just that. In a state or place that weed is legal I know that my little simple possesions would not be considered the MAJOR CATASTROPHE they are here in SC in regards to me being able to find even a half way decent job. (Right now I am unable to work due to recovering from a STUPIDLY and badly broken ankle.)

But anyway, this does seem to be a step forward. :2thumbsup:

So this measure is a fucking joke.. DUID laws.. No allowance for personal growing.. State handled grow ops.. sounds like the state is just gonna be like "we're now you're dealer.. deal with it.. or fuck off"... might not be wise for such a law to be passed..

Colorado's legislation will allow you to grow up to six plants... even though you aren't allowed to carry more than an ounce... so not sure that makes a whole lot of sense.

by the definition of "carry" do they mean outside your residence? who really needs to walk/drive around with an ounce?

If I could grow up to 6 plants, I cannot imagine a time or a reason I'd ever need to carry an ounce, and certainly not over an ounce. In fact, I don't understand why I'd need to carry more than a little...and that would be if I were carrying a bit from point A to point B.

    What do you mean?

Yeah I don't know the answer to your first question, but you make a good point with the second.

McFuddy, is there any sort of limitations on possession or plant count for personal use in the OR Cannabis Tax Act? I quickly skimmed the full text of the proposed law.. but couldn't seem to find anything

For Oregon the law would have no limit on the amount of pot a person can have.

Here's the main thing.. 1 of these NEEDS to pass in all honesty.. It'll be a meek future for every other state out there if none of the 3 pass imho.. if 1 passes that's great.. that gets the ball rolling faster in other states and at least gets to demonstrate to the nation how well this will work out for states that decide to do this.. tax money.. lowered crime rates...

Yeah I agree completely. Though it looks like it's losing support in Colorado, and Oregon supporters of the legislation don't have the money to sway voters. It might just come down to Washington.
