I noticed over the decades I lived in the Haight folks from Boston seemed to adjust the quickest. New Yorkers seemed to need a year or so in the East of Bay (Berzerkly) before fitting into SF. LOL

 

Us Londoners are good at adjusting 'init' Fairlight...!

i love it here! every bit! i know that doesn't tell you much, but i don't how better way to explain it..
we have very hot summers, and very cold winters, and springs and autumns are just gorgeous:sunny: our sea is crystal clear, our people are kind, but we are still very young country, and we're dealing with problems that are unusual for older societies..

 

I take it that means you are kind of having problems "Modernizing" too fast and stuff? A natural process that central Europe evolved into slowly is happening in Croatia all at once kind of thing?

 

yes, exactly. and country can't be ready for, i don't know, european union, when some basic structural issues aren't solved. for example, government can't negotiate price for milk with our milkmen, so the milkmen are pouring milk down the drain. literally.

 

Well I am sure you have a very beautiful country there...If I ever get a chance to come and see I will.

Today was a good day :2thumbsup: apart from my computer died so no more YouTube for me! it was a joint attack by toddler & kitten. They should start a tv show together..

 

I would just like to say that we are not a young country, we were a country for centuries and our society is not young.
The political system is fairly young, but the country itself isn't. We're older than America! I mean I know what you mean and what are you trying to say, but yeah, we ARE what you said ''older societies''

Yeah I am using my phone, its not great but it means I can post I wont have a new computer probably for a year or so, too expensive

I can't imagine how you can navigate a site like hip forums on a phone.I wouldn't have the head for it.Have you though about getting a second hand cpu/tower? You could probably pick one up for £100/£150...Not brilliant but good enough for surfing the net.
