Day 18! I open the door with some trepidation following the confusing discovery we made yesterday. Are they toying with us? Has this thing been tampered with? Behind door number 18 ... hmm this is interesting, it's a beach. In winter. A pebbly beach. The tide is way out in the background, and in the foreground there sits a stone. A marbled stone, somehow standing out from the rest of the pebbles and rocks surrounding it, somehow different, somehow unique. It's almost ... almost ... glowing ... ahhh!
Grr I can't believe nobody opened it yesterday! Day 19... I open the door and see what's there ... this has been becoming stranger and stranger ... oh, how sweet. It's a picture of a lovingly wrapped present, sitting under a tree, illuminated by the charming warm glow of an open fire. It's vibrating slightly... slighty more vigorously now ... is it? Or is the whole ROOM moving?! ... Ahhhh!
gasp!! no one's done today yet...can i? oh please? pretty please?? oh and FroSteD SnoWfLakEs!!! love daisyness xxx
Day 20... Hmm, this isn't a door, it's button. I'll press it. Poof! The whole advent calendar turns into a huge spinning, glowing, glittering diamond. Poof! Advent calendar again. I'll press it again. Poof! Huge spinning diamond. Poof! Advent calnedar. This is fun! Ahh!

A huge ginormous golden partridge just leapt out at me with a great big silver pear in it's beak...it's on a spring like a cuckoo in a cuckoo clock!! and now it's recoiling...and I think there are some branches in there as well...! EEK it jumped back out again, almost got my nose - I'm backing off! Hmm...this is a very original advent calendar..
I'm busy playing scrabble with Moominmamma and Moominpappa tonight and off on further adventurous travels in the north tomorrow so if anyone wants to open the 22nd and 23rd doors feel free! Ooh, roast chesnuts!
The 22nd door... Hmm... Behind the door I find... Gingerbread crumbs! Very strange this is... Someone has been eating gingerbread men inside our advent calendar! Ahh...?
Loughborough is not in the North!!! It's the MIDLANDS! Which are in the middle! Hence the name!!!! As an English student I'd have thought you'd know how to spell chestnut Nobody wants to know about your oldies sex games ...Rudolph...
