About a month ago I felt like my heart was pounding really bad so I went to the emergeancy room. Turned out to be more from high blood pressure. They gave me an EKG, an X-ray and blood test. They said the pain in left armor and shoulder was muscular after testing mobility. Well the left arm has always been bad since and I am starting to get weird feelings in my left hand. And just over all haven't been feeling right, like feeling faint, upset stomach, pressure on left side of head and face(this hasn't really been explained yet).

So I went to another hospital's urgent care today where I was given another EKG and the Doctor tested out my left arm again pointing out some painful spots. I've had a fair bit of testing done and three doctors call it muscle/ligiment pain yet I just don't feel right. Maybe I'm just worrying too much but I was wondering if something else could be done to test my heart.

Try a hot bath to get the muscles hot and relaxed. Use muscle relaxing bath salts.
If you feel good after a long hot bath, it probably is muscle related and it'll get sore again once it cools down.
Don't stress. All stress will do is make your body play up. Stomach pain, abdominal cramping, you name it, stress will give it.
I've gone through the same thing most of the year and narrowed all problems except the original complaint down to stressing about it too much.

If you're still concerned it's your heart, they could do an echocardiogram (an ultrasound of your heart) so they can visualize the valves and chambers and all that jazz. Have you been having a lot of stress lately?

No I haven't had much stress lately. But I'm out of shape and have gotten overweight (unfortunately I don't think I can fit in the tub for a bath lol, I'm also kind of tall too.) I'm starting to wonder if it's my Ramipril medication my upset stomach and loss of appetite chest pains are possible side effects.

Please try not to sleep on your left side. We tend to want to sleep on the side of the body that feels the most pain. Try to sleep on your back with as the smallest pillow you can stand. It will help to relax the muscles attached to the cervical vertebrae and help reduce the nerves entrapped between the vertebral bodies which is likely what is causing the numbness and pain signals. Even if you just lay on your back and foucus on the areas of pain and see if you can position yourself to make it feel better may help you some. I have a broken neck and I have had to learn somethings to control and reduce the pain because I hate pain pills they make me feel really bad for some reason.

If you have a bad or old mattress you probably need to look into getting a new one. Get a good one sleep is a very important part of our lives. A good mattress is worth every penny you pay for it.

Hmm that sounds good, think i'll try propping my self up. Though I actually tend to sleep on my right arm, I have troulbe falling asleep on my back. Hmm I prefer not to take drugs either, I've been feeling rather ill lately and wondering if they are the cause.

You don't have to go to sleep to try laying as flat as you can on your back on a firm padded surface. Propping yourself up will not relieve the pressure of the weight of your head on your neck and shoulders.

You want to allow the muscles that attach to the vertebrae in the neck and the upper thoracic region of the spine to relax and get back in alignment. Most likely either muscles of vertabrae are entrapping or pinching a nerve and by laying as flat as you can on your back you will give the muscles that are attached to the veritable bodies a chance to relax because they do not have to bear the weight of the head while laying flat. Pay close attention and try to pin point the area of the pain try slight movements and take note of what movements make the pain worse and what seems to relieve it. Also while laying flat gently and slowly move your head from side to side.

Bad position and improper body mechanics can also lead to left arm shoulder pain. Bad positioning includes the posture one holds while sleeping. It also involves the prolonged position one usually hold for a long time at work, such as leaning on the left side for hours, among others.

It could be a pinched nerve.
