is the service any good? I have always heard that satellite connections can be pretty fickle at times... :afro:
it's funny how people didn't see this problem with near-field-communication coming. it was so obvious from the beginning. some things need to stay in the lab.
There is a app called plan b download it . It can locate most phones within 5 meters some closer. You text from another phone or send a sms to your number with the word locate .The program will boot on your phone and start tracking it . You will get emails sent to you keeping you up to date on where you phone is at all times. Lookout and Plan b https://support.lookout.com/entries/20865091-how-does-plan-b-work
i just find all this really freaky. NO ONE needs to know where I am at 24/7 or what my next move is gunna be. Total invasion of privacy!! I have not had a cell in about 8 months and at first it was hard cuz I had ,had one 4 so long, but now I enjoy it alot..lol.. NOw I can not be annoyed by my mother every 5 secs. who just calls to tell me gossip about people I don't even know or about the commercial she just seen on t.v. Really I like just because no one can annoy me at all!!
For someone like myself that has a father with a bad heart I am on call 24/7 if he needs me.The app does not track unless you tell it to locate. Also you should know how to disable your GPS on your phone .
Really? I never notice people leaving their iPhones laying around or I'd for sure have like five of them on ebay right now...
I have an iPhone and although I don't just leave in laying around if by chance I loose it or it does get stolen I have a pass code on it. After a few to many tries the phone deletes all info on the phone. Along with that I have it registered with an app that let's me locate it if its lost or I can choose to turn it into basically a paper weight.
Why Not Dowload Singe onto it? it goes a step farther... It "supposedly" not only wipes the data, but does something to cause the board to overheat or something and renders the phone into a cool looking paperweight. :afro:
