Disney buys Lucasfilm for $4 billion I think everyone has the same fears that Disney is going to ruin the Stars Wars franchise. Which makes sense until you realize that George Lucas already ruined Star Wars.

Crapola... I was so sad to hear this... And some of the merchandise is just dumb... I mean, take a look at this shit: Or this: Come on... There's an image to uphold.... And the price... $4 Billion? That's it???? WTF..... Although I suppose if someone offered me $4 billion to sell off my dream and original ideas I would sell out in a heart beat too...
To make up for that 4 billion we are going to be seeing more than 1 new Star Wars movie come out, I'd guess there will be 10 more, or Disney is going to tank on this investment. If you figure in this price, this may have been an absolutely God awful aquisition.

There are so many directions they could take with this. I am disappointed that they sold it to Disney, and I seriously hope they don't ruin its reputation. But, at least i can say that Leia is my favorite Disney princess.

Although I have heard there are different plans, and due to the outcry Disney has promised not to mess with it so much or something? Because I could see it turning into a $4 Billion turd.....
