Does your normally start on time? No never mine is usually 5-6 days late always, this time it was early thank god for once. I hate when it’s late it’s like over week I feel it going to start and it never does

How long does your period last? I guess mine last maybe 4-5 days I think

Do you get real bad cramps? I get them the first couple days then it’s not so bad, the first day being the worse for me.

Back pain? My back gets really sore I also feel all this extra water weight

Mine usually comes on time... If it's late or early, maaaan do I get some nasty cramps. I always have cramps, but sometimes I literally can't sit in a chair and stuff; the first and second day are the worst. It usually lasts 4-5 days, but it has been known to last for a week in the past. And back pain, yeah, I get that too... Some times worst than others.
And I''ve noticed that my belly gets huge; one of my guy friends actually asked me once if I was pregnant :p

Mine was like clockwork for years, now after having kids it's never on time. I have a 5 or six week cycle. I have even skipped completely. It sucks not knowing when it's coming, and I know I'm not pregnant.

It lasts 5-8 days, it's different every time. Extremely heavy the first full day, I don't leave the house. No cramps, though.

    I get bloated as well.

    I won't miss it when it's gone.

I'm starting mine tomorrow (or should be) I've never been any great shakes at tracking.
When hubby and I wanted to get pregnant, we just stopped using protection. I didn't even track to see if I was ovulating - 6 months later! BAM! Knocked up. ;)

I used to just get a sore back, but since having a baby I cramp a lot more too.
But my PMS is epic - I really feel so badly for hubby because I know my emotions are insane.
I started taking sepia and thats been helping a lot with the mood swings.
    I never feel bloated though...

Oh! And some women know exactly when they're ovulating, they can feel it.
I cannot - wish I did, but not that lucky. ;)

    Peace

Regular as clockwork - they last the normal 4 days.
I'm not a heavy bleeder and the internals - cramps etc are, on reflection, pretty mild.

MY PMT is also pretty mild, I get as horny as heck immediately before my period and for the first couple of days - then the libido drops to a big fat zero for nearly a week.
Is it nature's way of saying "have a rest?"

I think most women know when they're ovulating, but that's all over (pregnancies) for me - no more babies. I have the glories of menopause to look forward to.....

Mine luckily comes every 5-7 weeks. Probably because i'm so skinny and if i weighed more it would come sooner. It lasts about 5-6 days.
I will get crippling cramps but i take some pms relief which helps.
I love feeling my tender breasts.

I have PCOS and have never been on a regular cycle.

I get one usually once every 2-5 months. It hurts like hell but only lasts about 3 days, my longest was a week and I thought something was wrong with me.

It sucks because in a year I ovulate maybe 3 times, 4 if I'm lucky, its been only twice before. I was lucky as hell to ever get pregnant, but because of my irregular cycles I didnt find out until 13 weeks gestation, as if finding out I was knocked up wasnt a surprise enough and then I see a fully formed moving around baby on my first scan when I was expecting to see a tiny little dot!

i was on the pill for a long time, come off a couple of months ago, and completely skipped my october period. apparently the body has to re-learn how to supply hormones. they dont tell you that when they give you the pill.

mine are usually on time otherwise, used to be 28 days (bc pill) but now seems to be about 30 days. usually about 3-4 days flow. that used to take longer, but now i have a Diva Cup, so i think that helps speed the process. I LOVE MY DIVA CUP. its like not having a period at all. sometimes i can feel ovulation, its a sharp pinching feeling, on one side or the other. I find that with the Diva Cup, the hassle of it being 'that time of the month' is far diminished. some pms symptoms, but i usually recognize them and give hubby the heads up. some cramping, but that is an occasional symptom, thank goodness.

I have endometriosis. I just had surgery to remove traces of endos. They found a lot. My periods were very painful and barely on time. Hopefully they fixed this.

Almost always late by 5 days or so. I get really bad cramps for the first 2 days, then I'm fine. I use a Mooncup and I've found that actually helps with the cramps. I drink a lot of mint tea and continue yoga, that helps a lot.

My periods have never been regular, and have always been of epic proportions to the point where I've nearly bled myself out and died on several occasions. I went to every so-called specialist in Florida, and no one could ever figure out what was wrong with me. Finally had a partial hysterectomy in 2001, and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. However, like clockwork on the 9th of each month, I still get cramps and weird cravings.

Likewise, I was told I'd never become pregnant, so I considered myself fortunate when I found out in 1994 that not only was I pregnant, but I was already at 21.5 weeks! My cycles were so screwed up, I thought nothing of missed periods, and have gone for as long as a year without having a cycle. I've always been very exercise oriented, and was out running 3 miles a day and working out about 2 hours a day at the gym, and what sent me to the Dr's office was the fact that I was becoming tired during my workouts. What a surprise to be told, "You're pregnant!"

I have really bad cramps for the first two days, especially if it's late, and I get bloated too.
What I hate more is the PMS though, I hate having mood swings, it's like the rational part of my brain just goes on vacation for a week.

I was on the pill before, and that made my periods easier and shorter, and I wouldn't get cramps either. But I had terrible mood swings all the time because of the pill, so I went off it. I miss my big boobies from that time haha.

i was on the pill for a long time. 4 years, then we were in a tight money situation, so i went off it. got pregnant, and had been on for 6 years when i came off it in august. i am trying to get my body ready for more babies, before my clock stops ticking.
things that i have noticed happening:
i skipped a whole period. that has never happened to me before, except if i was pregnant. freaked my shit out.
i got my libido back, which was a surprise
i also am getting every pimple i must have missed because of the pill. like OMG horrible, painful, blind. in places that are hard to reach.

we are using condoms until i get my other medications switched (i have hyperthyroidism, and the medication i am using now is not ok for pregnancy)

i would not go on the pill again. i will not use any hormonal birth control again if i have the choice. i think that there is a good chance that BC is hurting our brains, that was one thing they told my mom when she had her stroke/ aneurysm combo. condoms have come a long way, i used to hate using them, now i find them tolerable, and family planning works really well, as long as you adhere to it. of course, i am in a settled situation, 8+ year relationship, we just bought a house, so we are in a good place if i get knocked up again.
if i were younger and still shopping for a mate i could see being on BCs, but i think it should be a temporary thing, i just dont think its good for us. and some methods have shown an increase in breast cancer in young women. a friend of mine from boot camp is just a year or two older than me, i think shes stage 3 or 4, i think she used mirena.
i think we should rediscover the herbal contraceptives that our foremothers used, but shhh, dont tell big pharma i said that.

    edit to add:
i am still dealing with the side effects of coming off the pill. basically all the side effects hit you when you stop taking it. i have been really moody too, but it is getting to be less. some people react differently, but the longer you are on it the worse the 'withdrawal" will be. ugh. its like every cramp and pimple ive missed i have made up for in the last 6 months.

The syncing? Oh yeah for sure. I work in an office where I share space with 5 other women...I think all our periods are now within a week of each others. Its weird.

I hate PMS. I find that as I've aged the mood swings are worse...or its now just my personality....maybe I'm just a bitch??? Haha

In june I will be getting a partial hysterectomy....after having some big babies my uterus is not hanging to well so I'm getting that sucker out! I'm so looking forward to having no periods though I've heard that I will still experience ovulation and PMS.

Mothers love...I hear ya on the acne! I thought that acne issues were for teens but my skin is so bad as an adult! When I was on the pill in my 20's my skin was great but now I get the worst breakouts when my period is due...it sucks :(
When I was pg with my middle child, a boy, my skin was amazing..so flawless but then when pg with my daughter my skin was so bad the whole time...I guess the old wivestale is that the daughter "steals her mothers beauty"....buy how bad my skin was for that pgcy I would say its true! Lol

I haven't had any issues with spotting for years but my best friend was just mentioning yesterday how a few months ago she started having issues with this and its enough to require a panty-liner. That would so annoyng.
