Good Lord! I can't believe people made light of those photos, or thought they could in any way resemble a human. To me, they do look rather alien-like...especially with what looks like the 2 "ribbed" areas on his head, the odd eyes and what seems to be a hole for a nose. At any rate, that is definitely something, and for dang sure is NOT a short fat dude. I wouldn't rule out a ghost because you never know what happened to someone before they died. IF something was done to a person and he wound up looking like that (like being burned, having his head stitched up, and completely covered in gauze or something), that would explain why their ghost would look like that. Just sayin'... You aren't having us on with photoshop or anything, are you? Now you do not seem the type to do that, jam, but I just have to ask.
i don't know what you're seeing. looks like a regular guy facing to the left to me. the extremely zoomed in picture looks weird, like most extremely zoomed in low resolution pictures do.
It kind of looks like this thing. http://freddallas.blogspot.com/2010/12/ghost-of-christmas-future-seen-in.html
I'm telling you this is not a photo manipulation. I concede that the resolution is awful. This was taken with a very shitty web cam, connected to my computer and running a program called timershot. I was living alone when this photo was taken, it was in the middle of the day, NO ONE was supposed to be in my apartment. The program ran continuously taking photos at timed intervals throughout the entire day (I can't remember what interval I had it set for, but I'm certain that they were no more than a minute apart), while I was at work. This is the only photo that appeared in the entire series. My feeling is, that if it was my landlord (and it does not resemble my landlord in the least) snooping around, there would have been more than one photo captured. The camera was placed as such so that anyone entering or leaving the apartment would likely be photographed. As a side note, I had a continuous plumbing problem and the landlord would occasionally complain about a leak that seemed to be related to the shower/tub. So one day, he came up to see if he could determine the source of the leak and he opened a little access panel near the floor in the kitchen that allowed for access of the plumbing behind the tub. He pointed his flashlight at the floor underneath it and there was obvious charring of the wood. He said something to the effect, "you see that? this whole upstairs was gutted by fire once" I worked up the nerve to ask him if anyone had died in the fire and this weird expression came over his face and he said "yeah, they did."
It could be a ghost , a thought forum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thought_form , or just some weird image, a camera problem . desert rat
Underwear, I don't even know how to reply to you...I don't know if you intend to be obstinate and obtuse, if you think you are funny, or if you really think "regular guys" look like that. If so, I am either sorry for you and/or I think you need glasses...or perhaps new glasses if you wear them now. Jam, about someone dying and they were in a fire there...that is what this ghost (YES...I am saying it!) appears to have been through...a bad fire.
i don't know what to tell you, i don't see how you can see anything other than a human unless you're trying to. my guess is that it must be one of those things that can be seen two completely different ways depending on how you look at it. like this famous picture of the young or old woman: what i'm seeing is very similar to this, except a mirror image so that he is facing to the left instead of the right: the only other explanation i can think of is that you are going off the extremely zoomed in version, which is misleading due to the natural effects of zooming in a low resolution image.
It's very comical how people misunderstand the nature of pixellation and compression artifacts. I mean, what about all those "eyes" and "holes" all over the rest of the body, in fact all over the picture? It's odd that only the head area has resolution good enough to make out black eyes and a nose. Jesus...
I'm a graphic designer. I understand that the details of this photo are deformed due to the very low resolution of this image. The resolution of the head area is no better or worse than the rest of the photo. It doesn't matter to me if you scoff, but pixelation does not alter the physique of a figure to the extent that it makes a fat person look thin (unless of course if the photo has been retouched), and the only alteration to this photo are the obvious ones which was the watermark I put on it, the arrows, and it does appear that I adjusted the levels in the zoomed out cell to provide a little more contrast. I can spot a retouched photo a mile away, and I challenge anyone with any expertise to show me evidence that this photo has been manipulated beyond what I've previously described. There is no reasonable explanation for a figure with this shape/physique to have been in my locked apartment at this hour of the day. It's not a burglar, because nothing was missing from the apartment, nothing disturbed. This is second floor apartment in a very old house with only one way up and down. No feasible way to scale any side of the house, especially without attracting the attention of my landlord who lived directly below me and who was hypervigilant about anyone being on his property who wasn't supposed to be there. it's not my landlord, it's certainly not me. Draw what conclusion you want from that - I'm not going to defend it further. I don't know what the hell this image is, but I do know that something was in the kitchen of my apartment while I was away, I do know that it wasn't my landlord, because, as I've said, my landlord was very heavy and short, and I do know that my apartment was locked and undisturbed on the day this photo was taken. I didn't post this to convert any skeptics, I have dear friends who are skeptics of this photo and if there's one thing I've learned about skeptics, it's that once they've fixated on a belief or disbelief, nothing can move them.
Perhaps they had a key. If you're living in a rented apartment, any number of people could have access or be given access by the landlord. Perhaps they came to check out the plumbing, or read the meter, or to look at the state of the apartment to see if any work needed to be done. Had you given notice you were moving out? Did you ask the landlord about it? In the UK we have pretty strict laws on landlords having to give notice before entering a property they own, though many landlords are not aware of them. All we have to go on is your word for the veracity of this photo or your explanation of it. What you have posted is a blurry and pixellated picture of a person in a doorway. Freaky dude. No way. Can't think of any reasonable explanation for that event ever occurring.
