Mr. Spots died today...

Sorry for your loss.

 

Erin is a crow, she still bonded with Spots because, other than her parents and possible siblings as a baby, he was the only bird she knew... In the wild they would have been adversaries, or more correctly Spots would have been a food source. They never physically interacted but their cages were next to each other and Erin was very watchful of her friend.
