I got a vch piercing about a month ago now. As far as I know it healed perfectly, no infections or anything like that. However it doesn't really do Anything for me if ya know what i mean, and I dont think its quite cute enough to keep just for the looks lol. My worry is that it won't heal back to its original state if I try to let it close... Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm worried about scarring, about disfiguration, about losing sensitivity because of the scar tissue (this one worries me the most) Can someone PLEASE give me some advice or share experiences? I don't want to keep the piercing but I'm really concerned
It should close up fine. You won't lose any sensitivity as the piercing isn't through the clitoris itself (unless your piercer did something horribly wrong). Anyway letting it close up definitely won't affect sensitivity. If it's not doing anything for you I'd suggest that it might be pierced incorrectly. Read this maybe. http://piercingbible.com/female-genital-piercings#VCH (NSFW) A jewellery change might also help, maybe it's not rubbing against your clitoris or maybe larger/smaller balls would feel better. And if you have a ring in there, that's probably not going to do much for you.
I would definitely try checking out some different jewelry before giving up on it... maybe a longer bar would help with the placement.
I've had a VCH for about 5-6 yrs.. LOVE it!!Also an HCH, labia piercing, Christina . I agree with the suggestions above. The Piercing Bible is the best resource out there. Elayne Angel is amazing Honestly not many women that I know of have spontaneous orgasms from a VCH if that is what you were expecting. I've found that you may even have to find new ways to get the stimulation that worked for you before. Try using a vibrator but not directly touching the jewelry..Give it some time for your body to adjust..the first few weeks that I had it I was more aware of it but gradually you get used to it and it's just there..
