Are you opposed to drug prohibition in general, or only the prohibition of certain drugs? What do you think is the best way to regulate drugs?
Should the drug age be 18 like cigarettes, 21 like alcohol, varying, or something else?
Do you favor decriminalization or legalization?
Do you think cannabis legalization is a good (or bad) foot-in-the-door for the ending of prohibition, or that it could lead to a backlash?

Prohibition does not work so its useless, I think they might as well regulate it like alchohol. Though that is not likely to totally prevent minors from smoking it which I personally don't really care about but some people do so that could factor in their opinion. I get to vote on it in my state, so that's cool I guess.

My problem with decriminalization (as opposed to outright legalization) is that it still leaves the cartels and organized crime outfits in the same postion they're in now- making money as suppliers. At that level, the blood still flows.

Outright legalization has its flaws but I think those problems are preferable to the massive societal bleed that is the drug war.

SORRY FOR THE DOUBLEPOST, i HAVE NO IDEA HOW THAT HAPPENED AND SO FAR i SEE NO WAY TO REMOVE THE EXTRA ONE...

All natural plants, cacti and fungus should be legal. No government ever has the right to ban what is given to us by God and Mother Nature. Prohibition has never worked for anything and it never will. They have no more right to tell me what I'm allowed to eat, grow, smoke, believe or partake of any more than I have a right to tell them what religion to believe in. It takes a very unethical and immoral asshole to think that he has the right to decide for another.

“If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls who live under tyranny.”
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it. " - Thomas Jefferson

Cannabis and all others should be regulated about as much as growing mint, basil, oregano or tomatoes - NO REGULATIONS. It's my fucking garden, stay the fuck out of it.

I think its legalization will not lead to backslash and will be very easy for smokers to get it. It should be legalized as the others, such as alcohol and cigarettes. :)

Agreed. I think LSD could benefit today's society a lot more than some weed could!

In general, with or without legalization people will still smoke it.
Minimum age for usage of cannabis would be only ''representative'' control method for a certain government.
In real life nobody would acctualy follow the law.
